I believe that intense and adventurous stories are interesting. A good short story is a story with a lot of communication between the characters.

Deleteyou know to me, it all depends what the short story is about. if its a short horror story then its expected to have a lot intensity, irony, and a lot of the stuff we talked about in class. if it were a romance then there should be love, passion. But as i said, it all depends what kind of short story it is. it mainly has to stick to whats it about and details. that could possible be the key to a great short story. DETAILS
ReplyDeleteyeah thats a good point aaron , Details is key to completing a great short story . But you dont want to many details becuase then it gets to complicated and you kinda loose intrest .
DeleteWhat makes a good short story is a story that has suspense, terror, and some drama. I think this is something that makes a story very interesting and keep readers entertained. A good story can also have romance, fiction and more, but to me suspense, terror, and drama are the 3 things that make a good story. I also believe that a short story should have a moral so we can learn from that and don't make the same mistakes they made.

DeleteTo me a great short story has to consist of suspense and thiller. Has to keep the reader intertained pretty much at all times . A short story also must contain a good plot , but you have to stay to the point you can't keep on changing the central idea of the short story . if you do change the central idea it gets the reader confused and less interested in the story

DeleteIn my opinion i think what makes a good short story is the theme that the reader is hooked on at the beginning. i Mean yea the suspense and action can help it make it unique, but for me i think the theme is more important.

"The paw of the monkey makes the movie so mysterious and it’s kind of weird for me because you can make wishes on a preserved paw of a monkey. I believe what makes the movie so intense and suspenseful is the last part of the movie when the son’s his voice was muted while wishing makes the movie suspenseful.
